Hello!  I am seeking re-election to the Hatboro-Horsham School Board for a second term.

 

I have been a resident of Horsham Township for over 20 years.  I am married with two (2) beautiful children, both proud Hatters graduates. 

 

For the past 32 years, I have worked for a non-profit organization with a passion for serving people. In my role as a Human Resources professional, employee engagement is paramount to any organization's success.  Engaged employees work harder, are more creative, and produce a superior product.  Schools are no exception. Teachers and staff that are engaged provide the best opportunities for our children to succeed and enjoy the process of learning. A great environment with a Human Resource focus is a competitive advantage, one that we need to continually cultivate here at Hatboro-Horsham. I feel I can bring that to the Board. Hatboro and Horsham deserve the best opportunities for our children, and I will work diligently with other members of the board to make that happen.

 

In addition to my “day job”, I volunteer as a Horsham Little League umpire and umpire NCAA collegiate baseball.  As a lifelong musician, I judge high school marching bands in the fall months.  I enjoy helping and watching the youth in our community grow and flourish, supporting many organizations in our township and county.  I feel blessed to be a member of the H-H school board, where the work is both rewarding and allows me to give back to the community.  Students’ achievement and growth is a focus for us all and I can assure you that I will continue to work tirelessly to that end.

 

In my first term, I served as Vice President for two (2) years, and President for two (2) years.  As you will see throughout this website, we were able to initiate and accomplish many of our goals during the past 3+ years.  While the Covid storm slowed us down, we are looking to bounce back with even more energy, drive, and focus on student achievement and growth.
